What to Read Now That You've Finished Bridgerton
In anticipation of the premiere of Bridgerton on Netflix back in December I read all eight books of fellow Seattleite Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series. And after reading the series and watching the show, I needed more! Here are some of my favorite authors and their books that you simply must try if you’re going through Bridgerton withdrawls right now.
Read on if you wish to be entertained!
Eloisa James - author of several series like The Wildes of Lindow Castle (next one coming out March 30th), James is an author you simply have to read! She’s also got a memoir I love from when she lived in Paris.
Tessa Dare - with titles the likes of “When a Scot Ties the Knot” and “Do You Want to Start a Scandal?” how can the avid Bridgerton fan not find exactly what they’re looking for in Dare’s writings?
Sophie Jordan - author of contemporary as well as historical fiction my recommendation is to start with either the The Rogue Files series or The Debutante Files series.
Evie Dunmore - A League of Extraordinary Women series is a must read. The third book comes out in Sept so get to the first two before then; starting with Bringing Down the Duke.
Martha Waters - Water’s first book, To Have and To Hoax, came out last spring and the next in the series, To Love and to Loathe, drops April 6.
Lorraine Heath - a prolific author who writes not only historical romance but also contemporary and paranormal romance as well as YA that you simply have to check out.
